
The next film night at the Sunningwell Village Hall will be on Saturday 5 July (doors open at 7pm and film starts 7.30pm), when we will be showing The Titfield Thunderbolt, the 1953 Ealing Comedy directed by Charles Crichton and starring Stanley Holloway among other favourites. The screenplay concerns a group of villagers trying to keep their branch line operating after British Railways decided to close it.
Entrance is by voluntary donation and all proceeds will go to St Leonard’s Church, Sunningwell.
