Our next film night at the Sunningwell Village Hall is on Saturday 21 February, when we will be showing The Man in the White Suit, the 1951 Ealing Studios comedy starring Alec Guiness, who plays a gifted research chemist obsessed with developing a fibre that never wears out and resists dirt. In his attempt he falls foul of both trade unions and the wealthy mill owners who attempt to suppress his invention.
Entrance is by voluntary donation and all proceeds will go to St Leonard’s Church, Sunningwell. Doors open at 7pm and the film starts 7:30pm.
