The next film night at the Sunningwell Village Hall will be on Saturday 5 April at 19:30, when we will be showing Passport to Pimlico, the 1949 Ealing Comedy starring Stanley Holloway among others. The story concerns the unearthing of treasure and documents that lead to a small part of Pimlico (London) declaring its independence, and therefore exempt from the post-war rationing and other bureaucratic restrictions in Britain at the time.
Entrance is by voluntary donation and all proceeds will go to St Leonard’s Church, Sunningwell.
